You can join the Alzheimer’s prevention registry if you are between 18-95 years AND
Are healthy and lead a normal productive and active life BUT

  1. Have a history of a disease causing dementia in your family (most common disorders that may cause dementia are: Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Fronto-temporal dementia, Vascular dementia, Mixed dementia, Lewy body dementia, or any type of disease that deteriorates to dementia) OR
  2. Have a history of cognitive deterioration of dementia in your family that was diagnosed as caused by a genetic mutation (such as familial Alzheimer’s disease, Fronto- temporal dementia or any other genetic condition that cause cognitive deterioration) OR
  3. Carry an Alzheimer associated gene such as APOE3 or APOE4 OR
  4. Carry the CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease) gene or CJD family history OR
  5. You have the feeling that your thinking abilities deteriorate, especially your memory
